Originally from Virginia, I now call the Emerald Coast of Gulf Breeze, Florida home, and I'm licensed to practice in both states. I specialize in perinatal mental health, taking a holistic approach that honors the deep connection between mind, body, and spirit. By integrating a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, I create a nurturing and supportive space where clients can heal from past trauma, navigate the profound identity shifts of parenthood, and reconnect with their authentic selves.

Outside of my work, I find joy in the simple pleasures of coastal life, spending time at the beach, exploring local nature trails, and staying active. Most of all, I love sharing these moments with my family, grounding myself in the same connection and presence I encourage my clients to seek.

Why I started Emerald Breeze Counseling

I started Emerald Breeze Counseling after living through my own difficult experience with childbirth and postpartum, which was a season that left me feeling isolated, misunderstood, and searching for support that didn't quite exist for what I was going through. That experience is what led me to specialize in perinatal mental health. I know firsthand how much it matters to have someone who truly understands this specific chapter of life, and I wanted to be that person for others.

My Approach

My approach is holistic and person-centered. I meet clients exactly where they are, without judgment or a one-size-fits-all plan. I draw on a range of evidence-based techniques, incorporating EMDR when it's appropriate and necessary, along with parts work to help you understand and connect with the different sides of who you are. Above all, my goal is to walk alongside you, not direct you, as you move toward healing.
